Smartphone manufacturers have also created many fast charging standards, which are not all compatible with each other. For example, Apple's fast charging technology is based on the PD protocol, and the latest versions of Quick Charge are fully compatible with Apple products. Today, some smartphones can replenish the battery capacity right before our eyes. The Chinese corporation BBK has especially succeeded in this, having created a SuperVOOC 2.0 power supply with a power of 65 watts. A compatible smartphone is completely infected in 35 minutes. But this is a proprietary technology - this speed can only be obtained And what about in practice? Fast charging was conceived as the safest possible for the battery and smartphone, and therefore the user. But in practice, everything turned out to be not so simple.

Whatever the name of the technology, the principle of operation boils down to increasing the current and voltage, which give the very watts that make gadget manufacturers proud. But if the safe threshold is exceeded, the battery could explode. Therefore, any charging has "brains" - a microcircuit-controller that determines how much current voltage and at what moment the battery should receive. The controller is integrated into the smartphone's motherboard. You can avoid many problems with the battery, if you do not stick your smartphone into an incomprehensible power supply, bought for 200 rubles in an underground passage.
